Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design concepts, ensuring alignment with client vision and brand identity.
- Create detailed technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures, managing the procurement process to ensure quality and budget adherence.
- Conduct site visits and supervise construction phases, ensuring design integrity is maintained during the build process.
- Present design proposals and progress reports to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas.
- Mentor junior designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, structural engineers, and lighting specialists.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building regulations, accessibility standards, and sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior architecture or design, with a proven track record of delivering completed projects.
- Professional degree (BSc, BArch, or MSc) in Interior Architecture, Spatial Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and 3D rendering software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to high-level clients.
- Strong project management skills, including budget management and timeline adherence.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes is essential.
