Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care for post-operative, trauma, and cardiac patients
- Lead rapid response team interventions during emergency situations
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior nurses and conduct clinical competency evaluations
- Utilize electronic health records to document and analyze patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and NY State health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Current NY RN license with minimum 3 years ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and CCRN certifications mandatory
- Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
