Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement within clinical workflows.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership and clinical staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data security protocols across all analytical processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Clinical Operations, to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Conduct predictive modeling to forecast patient volume, resource allocation, and potential revenue risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Health Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably within a hospital system or large-scale medical practice.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Deep understanding of ICD-10, CPT coding, and healthcare reimbursement models.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
