Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis of large-scale healthcare datasets to drive strategic decision-making and improve patient care quality.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) that provide real-time insights to executive leadership and clinical stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data security protocols during data extraction, processing, and storage.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, clinical operations, and product teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize operational workflows.
- Develop and refine SQL queries and Python scripts to automate reporting processes and reduce manual data entry errors.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in healthcare data analysis, analytics engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of healthcare terminology, ICD-10 coding, and the U.S. healthcare landscape.
