Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support clinical reporting and population health management initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff and IT specialists, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies.
- Perform advanced data cleansing and validation to ensure 99.9% data integrity across all platforms.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within the healthcare ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing Informatics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, health informatics, or a related clinical/technical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, ICD-10 coding, and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts).
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
