Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to integrate data from various healthcare systems (EHR, EMR, Labs).
- Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize patient outcomes and operational metrics.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, IT, Operations) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor data quality issues and proactively troubleshoot complex data discrepancies.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders and department heads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in healthcare analytics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau and Power BI.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
