Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Insights: Collaborate with clinical leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate raw data into comprehensive reports that drive decision-making.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure all data analysis adheres to HIPAA regulations and internal governance policies to protect patient privacy.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize SQL, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) to build complex models and predictive dashboards.
- Process Optimization: Identify trends in patient care data to recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, persuasive manner to foster cross-departmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python/R for data manipulation, and experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards, specifically HIPAA.
- Tools: Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
