Responsibilities
- Lead Data Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive data analysis strategies to support clinical decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Advanced Reporting: Develop complex dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Clinical Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to integrate disparate data sources (EHR systems, patient registries) into a unified data warehouse.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous data validation protocols to ensure 99.9% data accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current healthcare workflows and propose data-driven solutions to reduce costs and improve patient satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data governance framework.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related medical field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with a proven track record of improving patient outcomes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare terminology, medical coding (ICD-10/CPT), and healthcare compliance (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical jargon into actionable business insights.
- Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and ETL tools (Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
