Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex data models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, and IT specialists, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of medical records.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in patient data to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership through clear, concise visualizations and reports.
- Ensure all data handling processes comply with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis within the healthcare or medical technology sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws, specifically HIPAA compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
