Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate complex datasets from various sources including EHR systems, lab results, and patient surveys.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for hospital administration and clinical staff.
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends in patient care, readmission rates, and disease management outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to translate data findings into actionable clinical protocols.
- Ensure all data reporting adheres to strict HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, clinical research, or health informatics.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, anatomy, and medical workflows.
- Certification in healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
