Responsibilities
- Execute complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support clinical reporting and research initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and IT engineers to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization within healthcare workflows.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, concise business insights and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
- Maintain and update data models to reflect changes in healthcare regulations and system architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and privacy laws (HIPAA/GDPR).
