Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze complex medical datasets to identify trends and insights impacting patient care.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data governance standards across all reporting projects.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to translate unstructured data into structured, actionable reports.
- Automate reporting workflows using Python and SQL to increase operational efficiency.
- Conduct statistical modeling to forecast patient volume and resource allocation needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in health data analysis or a related healthcare technology role.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and scripting languages like Python.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Certification in Healthcare Data Management (CHDA) is a plus.
