Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-performance software solutions for core banking systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize database queries and API performance to handle high-volume transaction data.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards (PCI-DSS, SOX).
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# with a deep understanding of financial algorithms.
- Strong experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
