Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/quarter-end closing processes for 15+ portfolio companies
- Design and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury operations
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation models
- Manage annual budgeting and strategic planning cycles
- Mentor 3-person accounting team through performance development
- Present financial insights to C-suite and investment committees
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years public accounting/finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and portfolio accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with Power BI/Tableau proficiency
- Experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems
- Private equity/venture capital background preferred
- Strong leadership with team management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
