Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with multi-entity consolidation expertise
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for SOX compliance
- Analyze financial performance trends and provide actionable business insights
- Manage audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance functions
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with public/private sector blend
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-company consolidations and SOX 404
- Strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge with tax compliance expertise
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategy
- CPA license or active pursuit required
