Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll departments.
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on annual budgeting and long-term financial forecasting.
- Oversee tax filing procedures and coordinate with external tax consultants.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and financial automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff members.
- Proven track record of improving departmental efficiency and accuracy.
