Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and board packages.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with department heads to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage external audit processes, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal control policies to safeguard firm assets.
- Mentor and lead the accounting team to drive productivity and professional growth.
- Drive financial systems transformation and process automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and US GAAP standards.
- Proven track record of improving financial systems and implementing ERP solutions (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
