Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Manage the internal control framework and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
- Direct the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and internal dashboards.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of junior accounting professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CFA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Expert-level proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical accounting and business strategy.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
