Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models for M&A transactions and investment valuations
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare detailed financial reports and executive presentations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to assess risk-return profiles of potential investments
- Lead due diligence processes for target companies and counterparties
- Maintain and optimize financial databases using advanced Excel and SQL techniques
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in financial analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and valuation techniques
- Expertise in Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query) and SQL for data analysis
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations and GAAP/IFRS accounting standards
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- CFA charter or CPA certification highly desirable
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet financial platforms
