Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and forecasting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Develop complex financial models and dashboards (utilizing Power BI/Excel) to support executive decision-making processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to evaluate capital projects and ROI scenarios.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and reporting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex accounting issues and data interpretation.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent professional qualification (CIMA/CPA) is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis within a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables) and financial modeling software.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly.
