Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial close process and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify key drivers behind budget vs. actual performance and present findings to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather requirements and support operational budgeting initiatives.
- Streamline reporting processes by leveraging data visualization tools and identifying opportunities for automation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA, macros, and complex formulas).
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and financial reporting software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, concise narratives.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial data to stakeholders at all levels.
