Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and forecasting.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct rigorous monthly variance analysis across all business units.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
- Prepare high-level executive presentations and detailed reports for the board of directors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to mitigate financial risk.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal financial control policies.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools to improve reporting accuracy and speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Investment Banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- CFA, ACA, or ACCA qualification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to business challenges.
