Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex month-end closing processes and account reconciliations
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budget variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support external audit coordination and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing month-end close processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
