Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external auditor communications
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain and improve internal controls for financial systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multinational corporate tax filings
