Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute 12+ high-impact events annually (200-500 attendees) across Europe and Asia
- Manage £500K+ budgets with meticulous financial forecasting and vendor negotiations
- Leverage CRM platforms to optimize attendee engagement and post-event analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams (creative, tech, logistics) to ensure flawless delivery
- Develop innovative event tech integrations (AR/VR, live streaming, interactive apps)
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with venues, suppliers, and industry influencers
- Drive sustainability initiatives and measurable ROI for all events
Qualifications
- 8+ years in events management with 3+ years leading teams
- Proven track record executing complex B2B/B2C events (£300K+ budgets)
- Expertise in venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and crisis management
- Advanced proficiency in Cvent, Bizzabo, or similar event management platforms
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
- Relevant degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
- Global travel flexibility (25% international travel)
- Google Analytics and post-event reporting certifications preferred
