Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of 20+ annual events including conferences, product launches, and galas (500-5,000 attendees)
- Lead event strategy development with 15% YoY revenue growth targets
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets across vendor contracts, logistics, and technology
- Oversee cross-functional teams of 10+ internal and external stakeholders
- Implement innovative event tech platforms (CRM, registration, virtual/hybrid solutions)
- Develop post-event analytics reports driving 20%+ improvement in attendee satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues and strategic partners
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in high-volume event management
- Proven track record executing complex corporate/luxury events ($500K+ budgets)
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or equivalent designation required
- Expertise in crisis management and contingency planning for large-scale events
- Advanced proficiency in event tech (Cvent, Bizzabo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Strong vendor management experience with Fortune 500 partners
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ major events with measurable success metrics
