Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute 15+ premium annual events with budgets $100k-$1M+
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and AV specialists
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and production crews
- Develop detailed event timelines, risk mitigation plans, and post-event ROI analysis
- Oversee digital and experiential marketing campaigns driving attendee engagement
- Coordinate logistics for hybrid events (in-person + virtual) using cutting-edge platforms
- Maintain client relationships and secure repeat business through exceptional service
Qualifications
- 7+ years in high-end event management with 3+ leadership experience
- Proven success managing complex events for 500+ attendees
- Expertise in budget forecasting and financial reporting for events
- Certification in CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management)
- Strong vendor portfolio with established NYC venue relationships
- Advanced proficiency in event tech (Cvent, Bizzabo, Eventbrite Pro)
- Exceptional crisis management and problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ signature events with measurable impact
