Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-impact corporate events with budgets up to $1M, ensuring flawless execution across logistics, technology, and stakeholder management
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, agencies, and internal departments to align events with client business objectives
- Develop innovative event strategies leveraging emerging technologies (AR/VR, hybrid platforms) to enhance attendee engagement
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize cost structures while maintaining premium quality standards
- Conduct post-event ROI analysis and create data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Mentor junior event coordinators and foster a culture of excellence within the events team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate event management with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven success executing large-scale events (500+ attendees) with budgets exceeding $500K
- Expertise in venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, and crisis management for complex logistics
- Proficiency in event management platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri) and data visualization tools
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget forecasting and P&L management
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives and diverse stakeholders
