We seek a visionary Senior Events Manager to orchestrate high-impact corporate galas, product launches, and international conferences for Fortune 500 clients. Lead end-to-end execution while driving innovation in sustainable event practices and immersive technology integration.
What you'll achieve: Elevate our portfolio of 50+ annual events, mentor a team of 5 event coordinators, and pioneer next-gen attendee experiences that generate measurable ROI. This hybrid role offers 3 days/week in our NYC creative hub with flexibility for travel.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex multi-day events (500+ attendees) across 8+ global markets
- Manage $2M+ annual event budgets with 95% cost-efficiency target
- Lead cross-functional teams (creative, logistics, tech) through agile project management
- Develop innovative event tech stacks including AR/VR activations and hybrid streaming solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with premium venues and sustainable suppliers
- Measure event success via post-event analytics and ROI reporting
- Train junior staff in crisis management and vendor negotiation protocols
Qualifications
- 8+ years in corporate event management with 3+ years in senior leadership
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or equivalent designation
- Proven track record executing events with $500K+ budgets
- Expertise in hybrid event production and virtual platform management
- Advanced proficiency in event tech (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri)
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable event design and brand storytelling
- Exceptional crisis management skills with 5+ real-world case studies
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration
