Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end event strategies for Fortune 500 clients, including conferences, product launches, and galas
- Manage $500K+ budgets with meticulous vendor negotiations and contract oversight
- Lead cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals across creative, production, and logistics
- Implement data-driven analytics to measure event success and optimize future initiatives
- Develop innovative digital and hybrid event experiences using cutting-edge technology platforms
- Forge strategic partnerships with NYC venues, hotels, and local authorities
- Maintain crisis management protocols for high-profile events with 500+ attendees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate event production with $500K+ budget oversight
- Proven expertise in NYC event landscape including permits, venue sourcing, and local regulations
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Aventri) and CRM systems
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities with 50+ vendor portfolio
- Experience producing hybrid/digital events with 10K+ virtual attendance
