Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, budget, and execute 15+ premium annual events (50-2,000 attendees)
- Manage cross-functional teams including vendors, designers, and technical crews
- Develop innovative event tech integrations (AR/VR, live streaming, interactive apps)
- Negotiate contracts with venues and suppliers securing $500K+ annually
- Analyze post-event metrics and ROI for client reporting optimization
- Maintain crisis management protocols for on-site emergencies
- Lead sustainability initiatives reducing event waste by 40%
Qualifications
- 7+ years in corporate events management with $1M+ budget experience
- Proven track record executing 50+ events in NYC metro area
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or equivalent designation
- Advanced proficiency in Cvent, Bizzabo, and VenueOps platforms
- Exceptional vendor negotiation and contract management skills
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ award-winning event productions
- Experience with hybrid event technology and virtual platforms
