Responsibilities
- Design and execute premium events (50+ attendees) with budgets exceeding $500K
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and AV specialists
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and technical crews
- Develop post-event analytics reports and ROI documentation
- Mentor junior staff and implement best practice protocols
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in high-end event management with luxury/corporate focus
- Proven success managing budgets $300K+
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and crisis management
- Proficient in event tech platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri)
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ large-scale complex events
- Ability to travel domestically (20% of time)
