Responsibilities
- End-to-end planning and execution of 15+ annual events with budgets up to $2M
- Lead cross-functional teams of designers, marketers, and production specialists
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and AV providers
- Develop comprehensive event timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee digital and hybrid event components including virtual platforms and live streaming
- Measure ROI through post-event analysis and stakeholder reporting
- Maintain industry certifications and implement emerging event technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate events management
- Proven success executing complex multi-day events with 500+ attendees
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation required
- Expertise in budget management exceeding $1M annually
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Exceptional vendor negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to travel domestically 20-30% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
