Responsibilities
- End-to-end event lifecycle management: concept development, vendor coordination, budget oversight, and post-event analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, caterers, and AV specialists to deliver cohesive event experiences
- Manage client relationships, serving as primary point of contact for strategic planning and execution
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand objectives and industry trends
- Oversee logistics including venue selection, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation
- Drive revenue growth through upselling and strategic client retention initiatives
- Optimize event ROI through data-driven analytics and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Event Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate event management with $500K+ budget exposure
- Proven track record executing 50+ events across diverse formats (conferences, galas, product launches)
- Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget optimization
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated team management experience
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Certification in Event Management (CMP, CSEP) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
