As a Senior Events Manager, you'll lead end-to-end execution of high-profile corporate and luxury events across NYC's dynamic landscape. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute 15+ high-impact corporate events annually (galas, product launches, conferences)
- Manage event budgets $500K+ with meticulous cost control and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams (AV, catering, production) to ensure seamless execution
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand objectives and KPIs
- Conduct post-event analysis with ROI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with premium venues and NYC-based vendors
- Train and mentor junior event staff on best practices and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate/luxury event management
- Proven track record managing events with 500+ attendees and $500K+ budgets
- Expertise in venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and crisis management
- Proficiency in event tech (Cvent, Social Tables, Eventbrite)
- Exceptional project management and budgeting skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse event types (virtual/hybrid experience required)
- Valid NYC Food Protection Manager certification preferred
