Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute end-to-end events (50+ annually) including corporate conferences, product launches, and galas with budgets $50K-$500K
- Lead cross-functional teams of 10+ vendors, designers, and staff ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction
- Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, negotiating contracts with venues, caterers, and A/V partners
- Oversee digital and physical attendee journeys through CRM integration, personalized touchpoints, and post-event analytics
- Drive innovation by incorporating emerging technologies (AR/VR, live streaming) and sustainable practices
- Maintain strategic relationships with Fortune 500 clients, anticipating needs and exceeding KPIs
- Mentor junior staff while maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols and brand standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field with 7+ years progressive experience
- Proven track record managing complex events 500+ attendees with multi-million dollar budgets
- Expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and crisis resolution
- Advanced proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Aventri) and data visualization tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and measurable ROI for clients
- Exceptional project management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Valid New York State Event Coordinator certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings during peak event seasons
