Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of events, including concept development, budget management, vendor selection, and on-site execution.
- Lead a team of junior coordinators and freelancers, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to secure the best resources.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement contingency plans to ensure operational safety.
- Compile detailed post-event reports, analyzing ROI and gathering attendee feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align event themes with broader brand strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in event management, preferably within a corporate agency or in-house team.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex events on time and within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid UK driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits as required.
