Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead hazardous waste minimization projects achieving 30%+ reduction in disposal costs
- Conduct regulatory audits for air quality, water discharge, and hazardous materials handling
- Design emergency response protocols for chemical releases and industrial incidents
- Train 200+ employees annually on safety protocols using VR simulation technology
- Manage EHS data analytics dashboard to track KPIs and predict compliance risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operational workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Advanced proficiency with EPA ECHO, OSHA, and TCEQ regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated success in reducing TRIR rates below industry benchmarks
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification processes
- Strong data analysis skills using Power BI or similar visualization tools
- Valid 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
