Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to implement corrective/preventive actions
- Conduct regular workplace audits and safety inspections across industrial facilities
- Design and deliver engaging training programs on hazardous materials handling and emergency response
- Manage environmental compliance including waste management, air permits, and spill prevention protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational processes
- Analyze EHS data trends to proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910) and EPA reporting requirements
- Proven experience developing and implementing EHS management systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Cority, Intelex)
