Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead multi-disciplinary incident investigations and root cause analyses for complex industrial scenarios
- Oversee hazardous waste compliance programs including RCRA manifesting and TSCA reporting
- Coordinate emergency response drills and crisis management protocols for chemical releases
- Drive continuous improvement through EHS data analytics and predictive risk modeling
- Manage third-party contractor safety assurance programs with 100% audit compliance
- Mentor junior EHS professionals through our accredited training academy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS experience in oil/gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors
- Active CSP certification with CIH designation highly desirable
- Expertise in EPA regulations (CAA, CWA, CERCLA) and TCEQ permitting processes
- Proven track record implementing behavioral safety observation programs
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- OSHA 500/501 trainer certification required
