Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Oversee environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and sustainability reporting
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across industrial facilities
- Manage hazardous materials handling and emergency response protocols
- Drive employee safety training programs with 95%+ participation targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational planning
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and ISO 14001
- Proven experience developing EHS management systems and KPIs
- Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB)
- Excellent leadership abilities with team management experience
