Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced electrical systems for smart grid infrastructure
- Lead technical reviews of schematics, PCB layouts, and power electronics designs
- Develop simulation models for power distribution networks using MATLAB/Simulink
- Collaborate with software engineers on IoT-enabled energy monitoring solutions
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and industry safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design or grid technology
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Altium Designer) and simulation software
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, renewable energy systems, and control theory
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects from concept to deployment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for technical documentation and presentations
