Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power electronics, including circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
- Conduct thorough simulation and modeling using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and SPICE to validate designs before prototyping.
- Develop and implement test plans to ensure product reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, IEC).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the design review process.
- Collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical engineering teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance and reduce time-to-market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in power electronics design and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or KiCad).
- Strong understanding of AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion topologies.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM, Cortex-M) and FPGAs is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.
