We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior EHS Manager to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust EHS policies and procedures compliant with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
- Lead post-incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective action plans.
- Deliver engaging safety training sessions and workshops for management and staff to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource conservation strategies.
- Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and auditors to ensure legal compliance and prepare for inspections.
- Advocate for sustainable practices and integrate them into the core business strategy.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent advanced qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in EHS management, preferably within a corporate or industrial sector.
- Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Proven track record of implementing safety management systems and driving cultural change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.
- Valid UK driving license.
