Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-agency digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with national strategic goals.
- Oversee the architecture and implementation of secure cloud-based government solutions.
- Manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships with government ministers, civil servants, and external vendors.
- Ensure full compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and UK Public Sector Information (PSI).
- Drive the adoption of Agile and DevOps methodologies across legacy systems.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior technical or leadership role within the public sector or government.
- Strong understanding of government procurement frameworks and digital standards.
- Excellent proficiency in project management tools and enterprise resource planning systems.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical policy makers.
- Relevant security clearance (SC or DV) is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring diverse teams.
