Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden patterns and drive strategic decision-making.
- Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure high availability and low latency for model inference.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and statistical analysis to validate model performance and business ROI.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in Deep Learning, NLP, and Reinforcement Learning to integrate cutting-edge techniques.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote a culture of data-driven innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, with strong expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Expertise in SQL and experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, version control, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision is a significant plus.
