Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of predictive models and statistical analyses to solve complex government challenges.
- Ensure all data projects comply with strict government security standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights through clear visualizations and executive presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into legacy government systems.
- Mentor junior data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ethical data usage.
- Conduct A/B testing and user research analysis to optimize digital service accessibility and user experience.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in government analytics, AI ethics, and public sector technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a similar technical role within the public or private sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
