Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data science solutions to support federal policy initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security standards, including FedRAMP and NIST guidelines.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning on large-scale government datasets.
- Communicate complex technical findings and model performance to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Mentor junior data scientists and data engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, applied research, or analytics within the public or private sector.
- Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
