Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve real-world problems.
- Perform extensive data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for modeling.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data science problems, develop hypotheses, and build scalable solutions.
- Develop and implement A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of new features and models.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and data excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, integrating new techniques as appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL; experience with Spark is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, causal inference, and experimental design.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex analytical projects.
