Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of sophisticated machine learning models to solve critical business problems.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing) to uncover patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, formulate hypotheses, and translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines and features engineering processes to support model development and production.
- Communicate complex analytical results and model performance clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing key decisions.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of best practices, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, applying new techniques where appropriate to enhance our capabilities.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our data science roadmap, identifying new opportunities for data-driven innovation.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data science solutions.
- Expert proficiency in Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Extensive experience with various machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, time series analysis, and natural language processing.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage, processing, and model deployment.
- Strong understanding of experimental design, statistical inference, and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or other distributed computing frameworks.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
